In 1955, The Mendham-Chester Tribune detailed the adventures of the Leonard Nixon family as they crossed the United States (and stopped in Mexico) in a trailer for two months. The Nixons spent time in New Orleans, El Paso, Tucson, Nogales, and many other cities before returning to Chester.
