This Week in Chester History…

Funeral services were held for Frank R. Teets at Pleasant Hill Chapel, in 1938. He was interred in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Teets’ death puzzled the State Police at Netcong. Two differing stories of how he sustained his fractured ribs and a punctured lung were reported. It was first stated that he fell from the steps of the Chester Post Office but later, his father said that he was in an automobile accident.
