This Week in Chester History…

In 1937, the Mendham-Chester Tribune reported charges of possessing illicit alcoholic beverages were made against Antonio Costanzo. Costanzo was the proprietor of the Maple Tree Inn on Long Valley Road in Chester Township. He also was charged with making false statements on his retail license application.
