This Week in Chester History…

In 1937, Edward Sliker was electrocuted while working on the N.J. Forestry Service. A cable he had used to keep a tree from splitting, slipped and touched a high voltage wire. He was treated at Morristown Memorial Hospital for burns on his extremities. Source: Mendham-Chester Tribune
