This Week in Chester History…

At their council and committee meetings, respectively, neither the Borough nor the Township took action on the extension of closing hours for liquor dealers until 2:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. A week prior, Mendham Township had resolved to extend the closing hour, causing a great deal of discussion in its neighboring municipalities.
