This Week in Chester History…
In 1960, the Observer-Tribune announced a record number of entries for the Rotary Club’s annual horse show, with 375 entries. The show was held at the corner of Routes 24 and 513 on September 5. One feature of the show was a roadster exhibition in the saddle seat ring by Milton Long of Sussex. The horse was N.J. state champion roadster (drawing a two-wheeled cart).
