This Week in Chester History…

In 1960, Chester 8th graders sold $3,150 worth of magazine subscriptions at a profit of $1200 to finance the class trip to Washington, D.C., the following spring. The students selling the highest number of subscriptions were Lynne Van Wie, Blanche Amarosa, Diane Hoffman, Jack Dean, Archie Altman, and Glenn Furrer.
