The view of the entrance to Hacklebarney State Park shown here includes the dedication plaques stating that Adolphe Borie donated land to the state of New Jersey in memory of his mother, Susan Parker Borie and his niece, Susan Ryerson Patterson.
Helen Skellenger was approximately 11 years old when she wrote this postcard to her grandmother, Hannah S. Squiers (Mrs. Jacob D. Squiers). She writes, “Dear Grandma I am having a good time. I hope you are well. How is your knee? I will be home Friday. Love, Helen.”
