Leck’s Luncheonette
Leck’s Luncheonette
Description
Leck’s Luncheonette, Chester, N.J., photograph, circa 1940-1959.
Located at the intersection of Main Street and Budd Avenue, Leck’s Luncheonette was a popular destination among locals. Prior to Leck’s, the building was Fred DeHart’s radio shop and George Ulrick’s luncheonette. In the 1870s, it was the Simpson and Case store. Back further, the land was home to the E.H. Dunham and Sons Store (1860s) and the Brick Hotel (1820s).
