Milltown Bridge and Falls, Chester, N.J., postcard, undated.
In the Milltown section of Chester were several distilleries which made “Jersey Lightning,” a hard cider also known as applejack. They obtained their apples from the famed orchards of Chester, and their water power from the Black River.
The postcard was published by Herbert T. Conover of Chester.
