In this view of Muskrat Valley, the Sturzenegger Swiss Embroidery Factory can be seen in the middle left of the view. In the right side of the view is Hillside Road and Pleasant Hill Road, which travels to Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The postcard is written by Mrs. Stelce to Mrs. E. C. Searles. Elmer and Adalene Searles lived at 123 Crossroads Road, then later at 35 Main Street, but this postcard was addressed to 37 Carter Street, Asheville, N.J. Mrs. Stelce writes, ” Dear Grandma Searles, Glad to hear from you and that every one is doing fine. Hope you will soon be coming home. Best regards to all. Most sincerely, Mrs. Stelce.”
