This Week in Chester History…

The Observer-Tribune reported in 1961 that the children of the Chester Elementary School would be allowed to suggest names for the current school, as well as a proposed new school. The elementary school was located in the Borough, but run by the Township Board of Education. However, the Board also included residents from the Borough under an agreement between the two municipalities.
