This Week in Chester History…

The Mendham-Chester Tribune reported that the compulsory inspection of automobiles, originally scheduled to begin in November of 1936, was expected to begin in March 1937. Motor Vehicle Commissioner Arthur Magee announced that most of the 28 New Jersey State Inspection Stations were ready for operation.
